World City Links is working with a network of universities and Games stakeholders in Tokyo that are seeking to learn lessons from London 2012 and engage with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020.
After successfully helping British colleges, universities and students to participate in the delivery of Beijing 2008, London 2012, Rio 2016, as well as Vancouver 2010 and Glasgow 2014, we now have similar projects taking place in Japan.
We have a variety of conferences, seminars and meetings with Games stakeholders scheduled to take place in Tokyo in 2017 and beyond, which will allow institutions and academics from the UK to showcase their Games-related expertise.
If your institution is interested in supplying a delegate to one of our next programmes in Tokyo for a week’s worth of professional activity then please contact our Tokyo programme leader, Matthew for more information.
Dates and precise details of the programmes are still to be confirmed but expressions of interest are now being taken. The programmes will follow the same format as our programmes in Rio and Beijing and delegate places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
